Review of Eraserhead (1977) by Seanathen C — 02 Apr 2018
One of the most insane films I've ever seen. Lynch dives straight into his most abstract way of storytelling and provides scenes and images that feel like the worst nightmares from a psychopath. The film's not just weird and dark for shock value though.
At its core, it's a beautiful and oddly hypnotizing commentary on religion and parenthood.
