Review of Equus (1977) by Artur C — 10 Jan 2011
Is it an allegory or not? Whatever what you think about this adaptation of the Broadway play of the same name, "Equus" is wondefully acted with a strong lead by Rciahrd Burton and a fenomenal breaktrough performance by Peter Firth.
It's a solid drama, but the final scene with the horses had me covering my eyes; "Equus" does with stables what "Psycho" did with showers.
