Review of Entourage (2015) by Adam K — 08 Jun 2015
The film does a nice job of catching people up on the character development whether you've never seen an episode of the TV show or since it has been a few years between the end of the series and the movie, one may need this refresher course. All and all, it is not hard to follow what is going on as Entourage looks at a movie star and his friends-of course, like (it seems) every actor, Vincent Chase wants to now direct himself in a movie and of course, he gives roles to his friends. Nevertheless, they mismanage money which in turn make the suits that control the money and ultimately responsible for the success or failure of the movie that Vincent is making.
The cameos in this movie range from the world Hollywood to the world of sports, which makes Entourage fun and enjoyable. Is it pretty much a longer version of the TV show? Yes. Does it hold it own as a movie and if one never even heard of the show can enjoy it? Yes. When it all comes down to it, Entourage is about 4 friends from Queens, NY who stick together through the good times and the bad.
