Review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005) by Dave A — 08 Jul 2007
Really good doc about the rise and fall of one of the most notorious companies in the world. Lay and Skilling's sickening greed casts a shadow over the inevitable fall of a modern day Rome. My brother worked for Arthur Andersen, the accounting firm that disbanded because of their client Enron's practices.
Cutting together with interviews and archival footage, this doc is a grim reminder of how one of the seven deadly sins rears it's ugly head and destroys countless lives because of these corporate scumbags.
