Review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005) by Rod T — 31 Oct 2007
Great movie. Interesting thing; if you deregulate, the greed wins. These guys probably all started off decent enough folks, aside from some social darwinian leanings. Message here is that a whole lot of corporate America was complicit on this one (Andersen, Morgan, Chase, Merrell Lynch).
This thing wasn't about Fastow, etc...it was about how anyone might fall prey to that greed. This will happen again once recent memory fades. Maybe even before then. Actually does anyone remember what happened with Enron? Wasn't it something about "cooking the books"? No, I remember now it, was that guy, Fos.
..Foster? Faa...
