Review of Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room (2005) by Luke S — 04 Feb 2009
The biggest redeeming factor of watching this two hour documentary film is that we know they all get it in the end, well almost everyone. Being I was only in Junior High during this whole scandal, I couldn't really fathom exactly what was going on (2001 was a big year for this Country, obviously), and after September 11th I think a lot of the fascination over this trial started to taper off.
This film does nothing but bash Enron for two hours, which is much deserved, but I always like to see my documentary films in a light that shines on both sides of the story, no matter what side I believe is the correct side. Still it is highly entertaining for this kind of film, and I highly recommend it.
