Review of Encounters at the End of the World (2007) by Steve Y — 01 Dec 2008
Mr Herzog lets you accompany him in his films in a way that is unique in my movie-watching experiences. I find his narration interesting, and can feel the joy that he takes in making films. Most important, my interest is sustained.
This film is a slice of life of some brilliant and eccentric characters living and working (the two terms seem to wonderfully mesh for these people) in Antarctica.
