Review of Encounters at the End of the World (2007) by Michael L — 23 Jan 2009
While this isnt quite grizzly man, its yet another great addition to herzogs oeuvre. antarctica takes on new dimensions with his eye to guide us. the people who inhabit that place are almost as interesting as the place itself.
the interviews he got are excellent. but the real reason everyone wants to see this is because of the underwater footage and rightly so. it has been a while since I have seen cinematic magic like that.
