Encanto is an immaculately animated film with numerous intriguing dynamic characters. Each of the musical numbers is great and necessary in establishing these characters. All of this culminates in a sweet familial tale.

Unfortunately, I feel that the story could've used a bit more time on one specific relationship, and the sudden change in one character's demeanor came without necessarily feeling earned. Other than that I really enjoyed this film and think it is one of the best animated features of the year.
