Review of Embrace of the Vampire (2013) by Denny K — 10 May 2013
I remember watching this movie a long time ago but since it's a long time ago, I'm going to have trouble remembering the story. The story is about Charlotte played by Alyssa Milano who is nearing her 18th birthday when she meets a stranger played by Martin Kemp.
It turns out that Charlotte is the reincarnation of a Transylvanian princess the stranger is a vampire who once loved her. He will be able to retain his powers of eternal life before Charlotte turns 18 within three days but first he has to seduce her and to to weaken her, he uses Sarah to introduce Charlotte to lesbianism.
When the truth is revealed, they have to destroy the stranger before Charlotte's 18th birthday arrives. This movie was a great film, had a great story and I had some fun with with it. If you had actually watched the movie, the film was titled above The Nosferatu Diaries: Embrace Of The Vampire which I guess was a great homage to the classic 1922 vampire movie.
Embrace Of The Vampire gets a solid 8/10.
