*** SPOILER ALERT***- The themes and characters are not at all fleshed out enough. They fall into cliche especially at the end in the transformation of Damon's hero. Most of the film he was just about self preservation, nek minnit he was willing to sacrifice himself with little to exposition as to why.
Copley is still invigorating to watch even though his villain feels a little too familiar. Jodie Foster is awful.
