I was offended by the race war and white savior crap. All the space nazis must have been busy doing Star Wars, because this had space South African baddies ala Lethal Weapon. When the main baddie got his face blown off, I thought, oh good, at least we don't have the stupid showdown at the end... ooops WRONG!
And WHAT was Jodie Foster doing in this??? Was she supposed to be channeling Marine Le Pen or something? I couldn't tell if that was an accent or she had a stroke. When everyone died, I couldn't have cared less. Good guys, bad guys, didn't matter.
And they couldn't have just sent medbays to earth before because....??? Reasons.
It's too bad as well - it was well filmed, and it could have been a much better movie given the premise, and Damon is usually fun to watch, although not here.
