Review of Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) by Nariflix N — 05 Dec 2009
Cate Blanchett can do no wrong, but she comes perilously close with this bad sequel. The scenes, costumes, lighting and framing are as stunning as her performance, but I couldn't get over the hackneyed story that played like a 16th century soap opera.
Watchable.
