I just got back from seeing Elizabeth Blue in Placerville. Well done, Kathleen Quinlan. This powerful movie presents the oftentimes win/lose proposition inherent in treating mental illness. There are no guarantees, no sure bets, and sometimes it feels like it's all just pharmaceutical roulette .
.. and that is the terrible devil of mental illness.
