Elephant is a somber, bleak movie based off the columbine massacre telling it's story in long shots of the students and 2 shooters during their day. The violence pot rayed is the right unemotional but not glorifying touch.
Well shot and acted by non-professional actors mostly, this is one of Gus Van Sant's best and shows he works best with young actors and stories of youth.
