Review of Electroma (2006) by Zacho D — 10 Apr 2009
You have to be pretty much a fan of movies like Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" to like and appreciatehis film. Many people were turned off by this movie, but at least everybody can notice the amazing cinematography.
Daft Punk really did their homework on that end. No pun intended. There was a story shown which was ok, but what was also really different was the music used. I guarantee that everyone who went to see this expected some crazy Daft Punk tunes or at least something like their music, but this infact was not the case.
This is not saying that the music was bad either, infact it fit the movie. Overall, its not a bad film and is worth seeing for its amazing cinematography that I think is one of the best cinematography efforts I've seen in a while.
Aside from that, its nothing special. The Daft Punk jackets were dumb too, but hey, it's Daft Punk.
