Review of El Topo (1970) by Peter H — 28 May 2008
A cross between Six-String Samurai and Pink Flamingos! (Which are both movies that I really didn't enjoy but appreciated them for their originality) This movie was pretty amazing as a whole though! There were a few moments where the scenes weren't very fluent and left you asking WTF (Who's Top Frog?) :) I'm also wondering if they did really great work on the puppeteering of the dead/dying animals or if they were actually the real thing! At any rate, it was deliciously gory!
