Review of Eighth Grade (2018) by Scooter P — 28 Jul 2018
I've been waiting for this movie for a long, long time. From the firs time I saw the trailers, I knew this would be right up my alley, and did it deliver! This movie perfectly captures a moment in time where you think you're too cool for school, but the sight of a fresh zit could be the end of the world.
Elsie Fisher is a fantastic actress, and at the very least deserves an Academy awards nod for this accurate and humbling portrayal of the worst age of your entire life. I remember eighth Grade well...
and for that I remain bitter and secluded. Best movie of the year, hands down.
