Review of Eighth Grade (2018) by Jamesirish68 — 04 Jul 2020
Yet another reminder of how awful school is for, let us say, the less socially endowed. Well acted by all, especially Kayla. Nicely shot fly on the wall documentary style. Kayla is willing to do anything to become socially accepted and this means a few scenes which those of us who have daughters could barely watch.
Poignant and a tad nerve-wracking. A sigh of relief when it ended, to be honest.
