Eddie the Eagle is based on Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards life on how he entered the winter olympics as a ski jumper. I watched this film on a dark gloomy day, and as soon as it finished I was in high spirits.
This film is the epitome of heart-warming and sweetness. Egerton was perfect as Eddie, literally perfection. Jackman was great as the supporting actor, but this was definitely Egerton's film. The script was funny, the soundtrack was excellent and most importantly, the film is fantastic.
