Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Mark N — 15 Apr 2012
Gloriously respectful for the much maligned director whose vision and heart far outweighed his reach. This movie helped dispel the notion that Wood's movies were there worlds worst and instead are classics of dedication to a craft regardless of cost or talent.
The lengths he went to for his movies were impressive and for a bio-pic it stays faithful to the man and the stories told of him. Landau stands out for his touching portrayal of Lugosi and his friendship with the maverick director.
