Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Brad W — 23 Apr 2012
An acid fuelled flick from Fonda, Hopper and an awesome little cameo from a very young Nicholson. Very 60s with drugs, freedom and the hippy movement ending. I enjoyed it and the opening sequence will forever be a classic.
And the faded cut to a new scene was well ahead of their time. Interesting seeing Toni Basil out of a cheerleading outfit and stoned out of her mind. A classic? In parts, but in the end it will be put into the same genre as other stoner films.
