Review of Eastern Condors (1987) by Chun W — 29 May 2010

Better than expected - remarkable visuals and excellent action/stunts make this very engaging. now...the story IS awful, and like a lot of these 80s HK flicks it tries to do comedy and incredible tragedy so close together and over the top .

. the melodrama is so thick that it's funnier than the comedy. But it's a kick to watch these superhuman bad-asses pull off crazy moves in this romanticized way. It's not a good movie but you can see they had fun making it and it's worth a watch.
