Review of Earthquake (1974) by Sean C — 31 May 2010
I find it weird that people thought this was slow and boring. Compared to other disaster films of the 1970s like Airport, for example, I thought it moved pretty fast. Maybe it's because I look at these movies in a different way.
I thought this was pretty funny. There were so many scenes that are now totally hilarious that I'm assuming weren't supposed to come off that way when it came out. I enjoyed this one in that way just like I enjoyed the Poseidon Adventure.
