Review of Early Man (2018) by Paul B — 22 Feb 2018
Early Man is perhaps Aardman's most simplistic and unadventurous film to date. As a huge fan Aardman this doesn't hit the same heights as Wallace and Gromit or Shaun the Sheep and the humour is quite dated.
It's not a bad film and there is a lot to enjoy (the kids in our audience lapped up every poop or fart joke) and it's delivered with the same love and attention that you come to expect for Nick Park and his team. However in an age where everything is CGI, it makes you wonder what does the future hold for Aardman?
