Review of Dying Breed (2008) by Kirsten T — 06 Dec 2008
Over-convoluted and formulaic, but interesting and watchable, survival horror with doses of Deliverance meets general cannibal fair. The film's downfalls include some ropey HD photography, poor sound design and too much padding that goes nowhere, but the film doesn't bore and its an amusing and atmospheric diversion despite its ludicrous smoke-and-mirrors routine.
