Review of Dying Breed (2008) by Doctor S — 02 Aug 2012
There's nothing categorically wrong with Dying Breed - it is competently directed and acted with a few tense moments - but there is nothing that distinguishes it either from the hundreds of young-adults-in-the-woods scenarios.
That places it among Eden Lake territory rather than Blair Witch Project, or even the two films it stylistically reminded me of, The Descent and especially Wolf Creek. The characters do some *very* stupid things in this one though.
