Possibly the best horror movie or art-house movie you've never seen, richard stanley's 'dust devil' is, quite simply, captivating. it's a slow-burn that works exceptionally well, taking some time to get the job done, but once it starts, you're hooked for the rest.
at the risk of sounding like peter travers, 'dust devil' is mesmerizing - in the literal meaning of the word. very gripping visual work, with very dark and very serious overtones. a great atmospheric thriller.
