Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Richard H — 23 Dec 2017
If you were to cut this film into 30 second long pieces and then randomly splice those pieces together you MIGHT be able to make this film worse. We watch 100's of stick figure characters engaged in various war scenarios, presented on a grand scale.
We feel badly for the men on the beach, but never connect, not even with Mark Rylance (too stoic) As a film Dunkirk is a Dunkirk.
