Three loosely related stories (air/sea/land activity) with little character development (who are these people and what are their backgrounds and how they came to be in their situationss) and an annoying habit of jumping from one activity to another (particularly in the air battles which are too chopped up and distributed throughout the movie).
This is no "Saving Private Ryan" or "Band of Brothers" or "Fury".
