Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Yannick D — 27 Jul 2017
I liked this film because it's different. It's different from a regular Nolan film, which is usualy talk heavy and full of philisophical statments. And, it's different from any war film I have yet seen.
I liked how we rarley see the enemy up close, they were like the Shark from Jaws which made them seem even more terrifying. I'm an Amercian, and it's nice to see a WWII movie not centered around us and our acheivements for a change.
And, as always for Nolan. Its setpeices were beautifully crafted and shot. This film is definatley a contender for technical categories this awards season.
