Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Emilio M — 22 Jul 2017
This movie was so close to being a classic war movie for the ages...the only flaw being that it wasn't made in "rated R" style to affect more realism and elicit even more reaction from the audience.
Superb acting by both the young lads and established gents kept me rooting for the "doomed" soldiers til the end. The aerial fight scenes were superbly done with great camera work and sound effects, whilst Hans Zimmer delivers as usual with the musical score.
The movie ends meaningfully and leaves a lasting impression of what unimaginable drama and humility occurs between warring nations.
