Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Jeff H — 22 Jul 2017
Dunkirk deserves no more than a 40% rating because Nolan selectively chose to tell 40% of the magnificent story of this historic event. A viewer would leave this movie not knowing who or what the enemy was, and knowing little of the "regular people" who moved from civilian to sailor to save their military and country.
My anticipation for months to see this movie was badly let down.
