Review of Duck Soup (1933) by Daniel K — 26 Jun 2009

This is both a political satire and a non-stop marathon of slapstick and verbal humor. Groucho Marx gives a great performance, giving one hilarious line after another. The acting by some of the supporting cast is a pretty weak, however, and the fighting scenes occurring towards the end of the movie are a bit too simple and ridiculous to be hilarious.

But overall, this movie is worth watching.
