Short and sweet and hilarious, Duck Soup is a genius piece of work from the Marx Brothers. Using mainly wordplay and physicality as its source of comedy the whole movie plays out like a theatrical production/ stand up routine by the Marx brothers, especially for Groucho.
Their performances sell the script and bring the film a rare form of charisma.
