Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Madeline M — 04 Aug 2009
This is a really layered film, which was nice. For some reason I had slightly different expectations - maybe something more pathetic? I don't know why, because I know GVS is better than that. Anyway, it's an interesting movie, with a lot of humor (in a Coen brothers or Kubrick way).
Even though Dillon's character is an asshole, I still wanted him to get a happy ending.
