At every twist and turn of the precisely engineered plot, director Johnnie To rewards the viewer with impressive camerawork and fight choreography to go along with a plethora of emotionally convincing actors best fit for their roles.
Particularly convincing is Honglei Sun who brings to life the story and stakes of his character Zhang Le.
