"Driving Miss Daisy" isn't as powerful as many have been led to believe, and I don't quite care for some of the music in it, but Morgan Freeman, Jessica Tandy, and Dan Aykroyd each have such wonderful performances that it's hard not to enjoy it.
Bruce Beresford's direction is a little hokey from time to time, but it's really a very sweet film with an ending that's sure to jerk at least a few tears.
