Review of Drive (2011) by Pinattar — 29 Dec 2011

I really enjoyed this film. the acting was great, cinematography was beautiful, music was great, great direction. the only problem that I had was the writing, I felt that the second half of the movie was lacking something, it just feel complete.

that being said, its still a really great movie. I didnt mind the lack of dialogue I think it just help set the mood/tone/atmosphere of the film, or the violence (again helped the mood). this movie isnt for everyone, I think if you liked "The American" with Clooney you might like this the pacing was the same and it too had little dialogue.

and if you dont mind the more "realistic" violence (similar to "Eastern Promises" and "A History of Violence") than you should be fine.
