Review of Drive (2011) by Colin Y — 13 Dec 2013
A prime example of an excellent art house style movie. It almost gives off the same feeling as Scorsese's Taxi Driver. The simplicity of this movie is its strength as well as a solid performance by Gosling.
Music used in the film includes a chilling song Nightcall and a sentimental tune Real Hero. The music really makes the tone of the film clear. My only complaint would be the excessive blood and gore. Other that that Drive is a solid independent film.
