Review of Dredd (2012) by Hawk _ — 18 Apr 2015

First of all the trailer makes this movie look awful, so if you are turned off because the preview makes it look like a cheap B movie, you probably should still watch it. The movie itself is a breakneck action movie, the kind that is rarely seen today.

Even though Karl Urban's Dredd is paired up with Olivia Thirlby there is never a hint at any type of romance between the two which is refreshing. That's kind of the M.O of the movie to be honest--a refreshing action throwback.

The action only ever takes place in one location which gives the movie a nice cohesive tone and as said before there is a lot of action. My advice is I think you should see this movie.
