Review of Dredd (2012) by Weirdcryo — 20 Jan 2017

I started watching not knowing what to expect besides being an action flick, it started well but almost lost me with the "mutant power thingy" but as the movie progressed it was used effectively and mantaining internal logic so it grew on me as Dredd character.

As a movie in general it has it lows and highs but specifically as an action movie is great: gory (without being tasteless), great action scenes, great visuals and a couple of main characters that grew on you as the story develops, it doesn't unnecessarily prolongs like most movies these days so that is also a plus.

It have the classic action moments where the hero should have died but they are few and easy to forgive.

I will recommend it to anyone looking for an action flick without a doubt.
