Review of Dreams (1990) by David H — 04 May 2008
A collection of eight charming and thoughtful short stories, Dreams is an intensely personal look at the ideas and values held by Kurosawa. Some of the stories work better than others though, and while I had to struggle through a couple of them, there were a few that made the film really worthwhile for me.
My personal favorite sections are Sunshine Through the Rain, Crows, and Village of the Watermills.
