This is an enchanting film, a collection of eight short film pieces, giving motion picture to the great Kurosawa's wonderful, artful, and historically reflective dreams. Kurosawa's mind is vibrant with imagination, color, and passionate reflections on life (and death).
I'm grateful and glad that he saw them worthy of being captured and shared. They indeed are.
