Review of Dreams (1990) by Ari C — 21 Apr 2017
A beautiful, magic realism fantasy journey that gives what the title promises. Transitions between stories have the foggy uncertain feeling that is reminiscent of the sensation of waking and attempting to recapture dream logic in words.
It may not be a text book construct of a film, but for me it captures an essence of that dramatic experience and I often find myself wanting to watch it when I need a little magic in my life.
