Review of Dracula (1958) by Carl H — 01 Nov 2013
This is the Holy Grail of vampire films, staring an amazing team of British actors, Christopher Lee as the immortal bloodsucking count Dracula and Peter Cushing as the heroic Dr. Van Helsing. This is directed by the visionary Terence Fisher, who is on top form.
It is full of ghoulish special effects and scary make up. The story is superbly written and the action keeps flowing beautifully. Horror dose not get much better than this, one of the many greats from the late Hammer Horror of which I am a lifelong fan.
Long live Hammer Horror.
