Review of Dr. No (1962) by James R — 02 Apr 2014
A good introduction to James Bond, but it just is so aged that it doesn't hold up so well. Sean Connery is an awesome Bond don't get me wrong, but the story here is very simple. This story takes Bond onto a mission to Jamaica where he investigates the disappearance of a CIA agent who was looking into a close island owned by the mysterious Dr.
No. The movie has no gadgets and the bad guy is kinda lame. Overall, as a 007 fan I liked it, but it definitely is very slow paced! Still I recommend checking it out.
