Review of Dr. No (1962) by Aditya K — 07 Nov 2017
Even though it doesn't feel as great when compared to most of the other Bond films, this movie has fantastic performances (especially from the lead; Sean Connery), great dialogue, good moments and some fun to be had.
Even though the villain is not that great and the iconic Ursula Andress' character of Honey Rider seems unnecessary. Also, some of the back projection and jump cuts are irritating. But eventually, the flaws are weighed down by the positives and it proves to be a good start to the franchise.
7.2/10.
