Review of Downfall (2004) by Ryan Gibbons — 25 Jun 2010
One of the darkest and scariest films ever made with really no comic relief and when there is mild comic relief it is not even really comical. Downfall is a film that is really made by the actors in it, Bruno Ganz gives the performance of a lifetime he truly scared the crap out of me, all of the supporting roles were quite good Alexandra Maria Lara a very beautiful actress is also very brilliant.
The entire feel of the film is quite terrifying, I felt like I was in that bunker with really no escape. The film is also very well directed and it runs smoothly. Downfall is a film that will stay with me for as long as I live it is a masterpiece in every way and I highly recommend it to every single person.
