Review of Downfall (1997) by Jeremi C — 15 Jan 2014
Downfall is really quite a disturbingly brilliant film; it turns the tides and makes you feel sympathetic for one of the most infamous individuals in history. But then Bruno Ganz pulls off an incredible acting sequence of racist slurs and screaming and shouting.
All the while the audience knows, and he knows, what will come of him.
